Jackson Slater is a sound artist and mastering engineer based in Boston. Making waves in the underground and avant-garde scene, Jackson pushes the boundary at the edges of noise and sound. Jackson is a contributor to the contemporary scene of acousmatic music, musique concrète, lowercase music, and long-form ambient noise.

Jackson hopes to convey an introspective longing for something greater by engaging in guerilla recording, in-the-moment, sampling techniques, and then manipulating the sounds to a space where they are unrecognizable, yet beautiful in a new way. Jackson creates deep and complex soundscapes with themes of religion, mental health, lament, necessity, silence, and loss.
